JOHN ELLIS, P.L.S.

DIRECTOR OF SURVEYING

John EllisMr. Ellis is currently the Director of the Surveying Department at Baxter Nye Engineering & Surveying. Current duties include research at Municipal Offices and Registry of Deeds, compilation of information for dissemination to survey crews, boundary determination, creation of staking sheets, downloading field data for creation of Site and Record Plans, legal descriptions, coordinating and scheduling of survey field crews. Mr. Ellis has been involved in the profession of Land Surveying since 1969 and has been involved in every aspect of the business from Rodman to company President (Ellis & Thulin, Inc. 1984 - 1994). Mr. Ellis is familiar with all aspects of plan preparation as a result of Field Surveys: the creation of ALTA Surveys, Existing Condition and Site Plans, Topographic Plans, plans for the permitting of Docks and Piers, preparation of Land Court Plans, and plan submission to Town Regulatory Agencies.
